Welcome Introduction

Welcome to Churchshift Ministry Int’l! We are a community of interdenominational believers united by our love for God and our commitment to His Word. Whether you have been a follower of Christ for years or are just beginning to explore what faith looks like, we are pleased to share the scriptural values that guide our walk together. The following principles reflect our heart for God, our respect for one another, and our hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us as we grow in grace and truth.

Our Core Beliefs

Salvation:

Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9). It is a gift from God, not earned by human effort, but received through repentance and trust in Christ’s finished work (Romans 10:9–10). We believe that, through salvation, individuals are reconciled to God, forgiven of sin, and granted eternal life (John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17). This new life is marked by a restored relationship with God and a growing desire to live according to His will (1 Peter 2:2; Philippians 2:12-13).

Regeneration, or being born again, is the work of the Holy Spirit in which a person is spiritually renewed and given new life in Christ (John 3:3–6; Titus 3:5). This transformation changes the heart and mind, enabling a person to turn from sin and pursue righteousness (Ezekiel 36:26–27). In a manner of speaking, with regeneration, you become a new seed as your “spiritual gene” is changed from the sinful nature inherited from Adam to “God’s DNA” through the Holy Spirit. It marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of sanctification, where believers are progressively shaped and formed into the likeness of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Thessalonians 4:3).

In Churchshift Ministry Int’l, we affirm that water baptism is an outward sign of an inward conviction of grace, symbolizing the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3–4). We understand that baptism is by immersion in water to publicly portray its essence-immersion (signifying his burial), lifting from the water (signifying resurrection). Ultimately, being soaked signifies the prophetic aspect of being mixed with Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We practice baptism as an act of obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19) and a public declaration of faith. While we believe that baptism does not in itself save, we’re persuaded that it bears witness to the transforming work already accomplished in the heart through faith (1 Peter 3:21).

We believe in the universal church as the body of Christ, composed of all believers across time and place who confess Jesus Christ as Lord (Romans 10:12; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 4:4–6). This unity transcends denominations, cultures, races, and backgrounds, binding believers together through the Holy Spirit. We affirm that the church exists to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, witnessing to the world, and extending the frontiers of God’s kingdom. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:10).

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, as foretold by the prophets (Isaiah 7:14). This miraculous birth signifies that Jesus is truly God and truly man—the divine Word made flesh to dwell among us (John 1:14). By entering humanity in this unique way, He remained sinless and perfectly suited to be the mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5), offering a way for us to be reconciled to our Creator.

We believe that Jesus Christ voluntarily suffered and vicariously died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world (John 3:16). His physical resurrection from the dead on the third day is the cornerstone of our faith, evidencing His victory over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:54-57). Through His death, our debts are paid, and through His resurrection, we are granted the hope of eternal life and the power to live a transformed life today (Romans 6:23).

We believe in the personal, visible, and certain return of Jesus Christ to this earth (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Though no one knows the day or the hour, we live in watchful expectation of His coming to judge the living and the dead (2 Timothy 4:1). His return will bring an end to suffering and injustice, marking the final triumph of His eternal authority and the completion of our redemption (Revelation 21:4).

We believe that marriage is intended by God to be a sacred covenant established by Him, reflecting His faithful and enduring love (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:25–32).  We believe that marriage is between an adult male and an adult female, designed as a lifelong union marked by mutual commitment, respect, and self-giving love. Within this covenant, we uphold the importance of fidelity, unity, and spiritual partnership (Hebrews 13:4), thus recognizing marriage as both a personal blessing and a foundation for healthy families and societies at large.

As written in the Scriptures, we believe that children are a precious gift and heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We acknowledge the responsibility of parents and the church community to nurture, teach, and guide children in truth, love, faith, and the fear of God. (Deuteronomy 6:6–7; Proverbs 22:6; Luke 2:52; 1 Samuel 3:19; Genesis 42:18). We are committed to creating an environment where children are valued, protected, and encouraged to grow in their understanding of God and their relationship with Him (Matthew 19:14).

We believe worship and service are central expressions of the Christian life. Worship is both personal and corporate, involving the offering of our lives in devotion, praise, and obedience to God (John 4:23–24; Romans 12:1). Service flows naturally from a transformed heart, as believers use their gifts sacrificially to love others, meeting needs, and reflecting Christ in the world (Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 4:10–11). Together, worship and service embody a life fully surrendered and devoted to God’s purpose (Colossians 3:17).

We believe that work is a divine calling established by God from the beginning of creation (Genesis 2:15). Whether manual, intellectual, or service-oriented, all honest labor possesses inherent dignity when performed as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24). We view our daily tasks as an opportunity to reflect God’s creativity and serve our community, recognizing that every vocation can be a form of worship and a contribution to the common good (1 Corinthians 10:31).

We believe that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and that our outward appearance should reflect an inner heart of humility and reverence. Scripture calls us to dress with modesty, decency, and propriety, seeking to honor God rather than draw undue attention to ourselves (1 Timothy 2:9-10). Our goal is to represent Christ through a lifestyle and appearance that prioritizes godly character over worldly trends or vanity (1 Peter 3:3-4).

We believe that the Kingdom of God is both a present reality and a future fulfillment (Matthew 6:33). It is the sovereign rule of God over all creation, breaking into the world through the ministry of Jesus and the lives of His followers. We are called to seek His Kingdom first, living out its values of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17), while looking forward to the day when God’s reign is fully realized on earth as it is in heaven.
